# Riding Through the Storm with $BIKE 🏍️

When we launched $BIKE, it wasn’t just another token drop but a movement. A way to rally the Cosmoverse around one of the most exciting real-world assets (RWAs) to hit the chain: positive-yield positive vibes liquid green gold.

With our partners at MANTRA, we tokenized these vehicles by injecting them with character. Literally. Enter Ali "Rev" Gator, our AI agent turned meme mascot, who became the face of a whole new memecoin class. One with real utility. One with ***memetility***.

**🚀 The Launch: From Streamswap to the Streets**

The $BIKE presale on Streamswap was nothing short of historic. We hit the highest FDV for any memecoin launched on Cosmos and onboarded over 1,000 unique wallets and early believers who chose to *HODL the throttle* with us.

**🌪️ The Bumps in the Road**

Like any wild ride, we’ve faced turbulence. Market volatility post-presale was the first curveball. More recently, we hit a sharper bend: a sudden drop in the $BIKE price caused by volatility in our $BIKE/$OM liquidity pool.

On April 13, despite bullish sentiment and strong buy pressure, $BIKE’s price dropped over 70%, not due to fundamentals or dumps, but because of external shockwaves in the markets for the token we were paired with on Osmosis.

**🔧 What We’re Doing About It**

We didn’t sit idle. The devs went into overdrive:

* **Identified the issue**: A cascading effect from $OM’s volatility impacted the $BIKE/$OM pair.
* **We took decisive action:** We’ve hit pause on the $BIKE/$OM pool on Osmosis for now. Our priority is making sure $BIKE holders have a more stable trading experience via a USDC pool.

**Deployed a better solution**: A fresh $BIKE/USDC pool is now live, giving us a more stable, reliable pair and restoring the token to its pre-crash price - $0.000008958 / $BIKE with a buyback of tokens done by us.

**🤝 Our Commitment to the Community**

While the recent volatility has affected many across the Cosmos ecosystem, our commitment to the $OM community reflects our belief in the ecosystem we’ve helped build with our partners. We’ve been in the trenches with the MANTRA team since day one, and we know this is just a phase. It’s only a matter of time before things bounce back stronger than ever.

We didn’t abandon ship. We just steered it.

**💡 What’s Next**

We’re back on track. With price stability restored, we focus on doing what $BIKE does best - Making RWAs fun, accessible, and engaging. Building real products for real users. Rewarding the community that rides with us, through every burn, mint, and throttle twist. The remaining NFTs of series 3 will go live Saturday( 18/05/2025 ) at 7PM GST. The updated prices of the NFTs will be published shortly.

**🫡 To Our HODLers**

Thank you for riding this out with us. We’ll continue to BUIDL, communicate transparently, and keep bringing you closer to a future where memes have wheels, and RWAs go vroom.

Ali isn’t slowing down, and neither are we.
